First TN Valley Reformed Fellowship Concludes

Thanks to all who participated in our first TN Valley Reformed Fellowship event. We missed those of you who were not able to attend. Thanks to Pastor Rusty Langford and the Macedonia Baptist Church for making their facilities available to us. Praise the Lord for a tremendous turnout! (see event bulletin here).

After some great singing together, Dr. Nettles brought a wonderful message on the glory of God showcasing this central theme of Scripture from creation, to His "glorious grace" shown in redemption, and continuing into eternity wherein all men will forever showcase His inexhaustible glory. I'm sure all who were present would echo how this reminder of God's glory was the perfect topic of focus for our first Reformed Fellowship. Thank you, Dr. Nettles for this timely reminder of what brings us and keeps us together.

For those interested and especially those who were unable to attend, an MP3 link of Dr. Nettles' message is available here.

Following the message, we briefly looked at the "Four S's" that I proposed we hold before us as we continue in fellowship together (see "Why We Exist" in the left margin of this BLOG for more on this).

Finally, we enjoyed an open time of fellowship together. I've already heard from several who shared how relationships were established and strengthened during this time. Dr. Nettles and his wife, Margaret, were also a joy and encouragement during the time of fellowship.

Lord willing, we will regroup in a few months for another time of fellowship. Thanks to those who indicated your willingness to host our next event. Until we meet again, let's be in prayer for one another as (by God's grace) we show forth His glory by sharing His gospel throughout the Tennessee Valley.

To the praise of his glorious grace,
Craig White
