Greetings, Brothers and Sisters in the Lord:

I would like to make you aware of an upcoming opportunity for some great Reformed Fellowship right here in the Tennessee Valley.

Dr. Tom Nettles will be speaking this coming June in Cleveland at our church's 150th Anniversary "Homecoming". As a part of his visit, he has graciously agreed to meet with those in the area who are interested and in need of some good Southern Reformed fellowship!

This Reformed Fellowship event will be held free of charge* on
Saturday, June 27, 2009 from 6-8pm at Macedonia Baptist Church in Cleveland, Tennessee. Dr. Nettles will bring a word of encouragement to us followed by an open time of fellowship and light refreshments.

Dr. Tom Nettles is a distinguished church historian currently serving as
Professor of Historical Theology at Southern Theological Seminary. He
has written several books including "By His Grace and For His Glory" and
"Ready for Reformation?". He is a regular contributor to numerous
evangelical journals, publications, and BLOGs. You may have also seen
Dr. Nettles' appearances in the excellent video documentary, "Amazing
Grace: The History & Theology of Calvinism".

In preparation for this event, please:

  1. Reply to this invitation with your intent so we can make proper preparations.
  2. Share this invitation with other Reformed-minded individuals within your ministry and fellowship.
  3. Pray for this fellowship and for God's continued work of reforming the hearts and minds of His people here in the Tennessee Valley.
I hope to see you in June.

Craig White
Fellowship Organizer

P.S. – Lord willing, additional Reformed Fellowship events will be organized (perhaps quarterly) to allow us to continue encouraging one another.

*A voluntary collection will be taken up to show our appreciation to Dr. Nettles
